American Express Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

The Board of Directors of American Express Company today declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.20 per common share, payable on August 10, 2012 to shareholders of record on July 6, 2012.

Company (NYSE: AXP) today reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.2 billion, up 12 percent from $1.1 billion in the year-ago period. Diluted earnings per share was $1.01, up 15 percent from $0.88 a year ago.
